It took 20 minutes to break down Capalaba but once the first goal went in JPC had no intention of taking the foot of the gas.

GUS opened the scoring with a quality strike from a central position on the edge of the box and drilled home into the top left hand corner which gave the keeper no chance. The second goal came from left back INJI who swept over a teasing cross that was met on the full volley by MIDGE just inside the area" the goal of the season, brilliant technique and execution" said Muzza the ball bent round and across the keeper into the top left hand corner" don't worry about bend it like Beckham! it was more of a case of bend it like Midge!" said Muzza. 2-0 at half time. The second half was more of the same with JPC dominating and when they changed from 442 to 343 Capalaba failed to deal with a new set of problems MIDGE, DUK and TERRY completed the scoring for JPC with Capalaba scoring a very credible 2 in reply. All in all a good game for the spectators.
