JOHN PAUL COLLEGE FIRST IX UNDEFEATED IN COMPETITIVE GAMES THIS YEAR

Following on from the SSI Cup Final win last month. John Paul College have been enjoying similar success in the Uhlsport cup. After 2 rounds of the cup played, it looks like it will take something special to defeat this squad. "We play Calvary College in the 3rd round and jugging by previous results they could find themselves in for a rough ride" said Steve Murray (JPC Head Coach) Most of the squad are touring with the Premier Soccer Academy in September and seem to be really fired up. " Brian Cheeseman (Assistant Coach) and I are very happy with the way the lads have adapted to the changes I have implemented this year and several players are playing well above pre season expectations, Macca, Midge, Nath, Dritton and Duchy are all playing with a great deal of confidence, Brian and I have drummed it into everyone that our overall level of professionalism needed to be lifted and the response is there for all to see. Development is my main priority so if we get beat, we get beat, it's more about the way we are playing that I am concerned about and at the moment I am more then happy with the Football we are playing. " said Murray
