Canvey Youth Tournament details 01/09/07
Their will be no training Saturday 1st Sept
due to the Canvey youth tournament that we have entered. Players need to meet
1.30pm sharp, Waterside. This is an 11 a-side tournament please make
sure you contact myself or Paul if you have any problems.

2 Week Summer Break.
Training will finish Saturday 4th August & recommence Saturday 25th August.
Contrary to some reports the break in training has nothing to do with Jeff
feeling his age.
New season.
Fixtures for the new season will be issued at the end of August & we are
expecting our season to kick off Sunday September 16th. However we are unsure as
to when the pitches at waterside will be available. Their is a rule change this
season that allows teams to name & use 4 substitutes.
Sponsored Walk.
Jeff has previously issued forms for the annual sponsored walk around the sea
wall from Lobster smack to Smallgains. This year it is scheduled for Sunday 2nd
September & parents again will be welcome to walk as well. Will meet at 10.30am
sharp at the Lobster smack. All money raised will go to the individual team
funds.
Afterwards the bar & tuck shop will be open at the club & a climbing wall set up
outside. There will also be an auction of photos & sports memorabilia in the
hall. Teams can arrange to bring food along to the hall before the walk if they
want to make an event of the day.

The U/13s are still looking for a sponsor for the new season ahead. Any
