Congratulations Island Boys U/9s. Runners up in the Hullbridge sports mini football Tournament. The boys have come a long way in the last 12 months & this acheivment was recognition of all the hard work they have put in over the last couple of seasons. On the day goal difference prevented them from winning the tournament outright, only 1 goal in it but they were more than happy with the outcome & to get there first ever club silverware. They also had the privilege of boasting a 6 game unbeaten run.

Hawkwell Athletic Invitation was there next Tournament. Once again this tournament highlighted just how far they have improved by once again finishing runners up in there group & just missing out on a semi final birth on goal difference, again it was by a single goal.
