Tommy (shaggy) Beddard has returned to the UK this week
and will play no further part in the 2006 season. Tommy will be a big loss
to the club who hopfully will be able to announce a suitable replacement
this week.
Tommy played a big part in Wilston's pre-season
preparation and was well liked by everyone at the club. Saturday's away game
against Old Bridge was to have been his last game for the club however
floodlight failure in the 35th minute of the 1st half during the Reserves
game put an end to that, with the 1st and Reserve fixture having to now be
re scheduled.
