Essex Counties & Broomfield FC player Darryl Tredget is taking time out from the rigors of UK football to gain some valuable overseas experience. Darryl is hoping to arrive in Australia early January, in time for the Aussie pre season where he will have a chance to look at a few clubs & hopefully catch the eye of a reputable side over there.
The challenge of playing football in a totally different environment is an exciting prospect for the Broomfield senior player, "Its a great opportunity for me, I'm really looking forward to the challenge".
Serious injury put him out of the game at a crucial time, he has since fully recovered & is back on track re-setting his goals of rebuilding his football career "After the disappointment of breaking my foot & missing out what turned out to be some big games, I see Australia as a breath of fresh air, I want to play a season over there, its going to be a culture shock playing in warm weather but I'm sure I will cope".
