UHLSPORT CUP SEMI FINAL

JPC 4-1 ST PETERS COLLEGE

2 Terry
1 Gus
1 Savizola

John Paul College, Reach Third Final This Season

Despite the fact that JPC had coach Steve Murray confined to the stand and 2 key players (Driton and Adam) suspended John Paul put on an excellent display to reach the Uhlsport Cup Final scheduled for next Monday.

Brian Chessman (assistant coach) took charge and despite going down after 10 minutes against the run of play, the final out come was inevitable. Gus opened the scoring after JPC missed a penalty and had struck the wood work twice, half time 1-1. The second half was all JPC again the wood work came to St Peters rescue and a series of fantastic saves from the St Peters keeper kept the score from becoming and embarrassment. Goals from Terry (2) and 1 from Savizola finished the job off with centre back Charles, picking up man of the match " it was an outstanding display from the lads, with all the nonsense from last week to contented with and the whole situation being blown out of all proportion by the so called organisers this was going to be a real test of caricature for or lads and credit to Brian for keeping it all together and reinforcing the principles we have been working to all season" said Muzza.
